AUDITIONS

All candidates must successfully pass the college audition. This is a balanced assessment and is conducted and adjudicated by the expertise of our staff. Candidates will be assessed in all aspects of criteria. The procedure begins first with a ballet class followed by a jazz class, based on technique and potential. Candidates will then take part in a musical theatre workshop and individually perform a song and acting piece. Each individual is required to prepare a solo dance piece no longer than 1 min 30 seconds. Personal qualities such as communication, passion, detemination and respect are assessed and career aspirations are disscussed. Auditions take place throughout the year. Candidates are notified date upon application only.

Performance

All students will partipate in annual productions including end of the year performance, choreography competions and external productions, regular musical, revue and experimental productions will take place throughtout the year,
